Hayes / Hayes Wedding… I know what you are thinking…

No, the bride and groom have absolutely no relation to one another. But it is strange that both of their parents have the same first names, as do their grandparents…

This was an absolutely beutiful wedding. Safe to say the best wedding I have photographed yet. I contribute half of that to the amazing wedding coordinator Meagan Hayes of Dallas. She put together an amazing lineup of wedding vendors and paid attention to the smallest details. Definitely a hands on coordinator. I was thoroughly impressed with how well everything ran. First wedding I have ever photographed that started on time. First wedding I have ever attended actually!

The food was amazing, the cake was even better, and the company was like family. The Hayes families made me feel so much at home there. They feed me, boozed me, and made me have a great time! Please enjoy the pictures and video slideshow

Centerpiece in this weeks New Mexico Free Press

Thanks to the Ana June @ the New Mexico Free Press for the very cool centerpiece on my photography. Although my bio makes me sound like an arrogant old man, i love it. Of course I cant blame anyone but myself for the bio because I wrote it. Never been much of a writer.

Lauren Tercero Senior Portraits

So I recently photographed my neice Lauren for her senior portraits. She was insistent that her images not be anything like her friends from Colorado Springs, i.e. Red Rocks, forest pictures, etc… She wanted more of a rustic feel. We decided to take a walk down Canyon Road in Santa Fe. It didnt take long before we found a long driveway with an old coyote fence lined with hollyhocks. It was perfect for what she wanted. The clouds broke just long enough for us to get the shots we needed.

Lush. Peaceful. Luxury.

The first thing that caught my attention in this property was a water feature / river wrapping around the front courtyard, along the exterior walkway, and ending in the large koi pond. The crisp air takes on the smell of a river flowing through the mountains. It was such a calming experience photographing this property.

Joanna & Kenneth Wedding

I photographed this wedding up near Cerrillos, NM.

The weather couldnt have been any better. The oncoming Thunderstorm held off to just after the reception was ending.
